mine is the latest chapter in singer-songwriter Mia Schuster’s creative journey—

the name, inspired by Isaiah 43:1, marks a fresh start for the Fargo, ND native. Music has been mine’s constant companion since 3rd grade when her mom signed her up for guitar lessons and church choir. In those early days, she avoided practicing at all costs, but it planted the seeds of a passion that would begin to blossom in 7th grade when she realized music was her forever thing.

Since then, mine has poured her heart and soul into her craft. From high school bands and theatre to college music programs, she’s followed her calling wherever it’s led—including her current studies in music production at Berklee College of Music. Along the way, she’s lived across the U.S., soaking up stories and sounds from the Dakotas, Carolinas, California, and now Boston. Every place has added a new layer to her artistry, and every song is a reflection of the experiences that shaped her.

mine's sound is a captivating mix of cool, indie/alternative pop with hints of folk, pop-punk, and everything in between. Her songs are made to make you think, feel, and maybe even heal—because music, for mine, is all about connection. She’s had the privilege of working with incredibly talented creatives who collaborate with top industry artists, soaking up wisdom and inspiration from every session.
